Upstairs at The Cornerhouse, we have a private free-to-hire function room that holds 50-100 guests. It comes with its own bar and dedicated staff.

Plug in to the in-house sound system to play your own music or hire a DJ or musicians to entertain your guests on the dancefloor.

Exposed brickwork, wooden floors and candlelight make for an inviting atmosphere and party hosts are welcome to decorate the space to suit their tastes.

With real ales, moreish wines and an extensive gin menu, it’s the perfect place to have a great time. A flexible food offering ranging from buffets to platters, curries and pizza ensures there’s something for everyone.

Centrally located, we’re a 5 minute walk from Chester train station, with parking and city centre hotels on our doorstep.

Please note: we do not host children’s parties, 18ths, 21sts, baby showers, stag or hen parties. Please also note that we are only able to offer a free-to-hire venue by ensuring that the parties that we book are profitable, and any booking enquiry may be discounted on that basis.

On the day we were able to get into the room at 12.15pm to decorate which gave us plenty of time to get back and get ready.
